VienTek is a joint venture between Mitsubishi and TPI Composites with two wind blade manufacturing plants located in Mexico. VienTek has produced more than 5,000 wind turbine blades to date for supply to Mitsubishi.
With an annual capacity of 1200MW, the Mitsubishi / TPI Composites joint venture supports the growth of the wind energy market. VienTek manufactures 30m class blades for Mitsubishi's MWT 62/1.0 turbine. In addition, VienTek manufactures the 45m class blades for Mitsubishi's MWT 92/2.4 and MWT95 turbines.
