Bridging the Generations
Mitsubishi advanced G technology one step further with a second-generation G Series turbine that offers near-H performance. The M701G2 incorporates a number of H Series advances including steam-cooling of both the combustor transitions and turbine blade rings, as well as an advanced Ultra Low-NOx combustion system and an improved compressor that delivers an impressive 21:1 pressure ratio with only 14 stages.
The M701G2 combines the field-proven pedigree of a G with near-H output and efficiency – 334MW/39.5% in gas turbine only, and 489MW/58.7% in combined cycle configurations.
