Remote Monitoring Facility

Remote Monitoring Facility
Mitsubishi’s Remote Monitoring facility at the Orlando Service Center features redundant communications lines, uninterruptible power supplies and emergency power to ensure continuous connection to customer sites. A second offsite server affords secure backup for both applications and data.

Real-Time Technical Support Via Secure Internet Connection

Located at our Orlando Service facility, Mitsubishi Power Systems’ Remote Monitoring Center supports customers through real-time acquisition and presentation of turbine operating data. Data is collected via a secure Internet connection to the customer’s host supervisory or control system.

The RMC is capable of monitoring over 400 operational parameters, including:

  • Equivalent Operating Hours (EOH)
  • Gas Turbine Output
  • Turbine Speed (RPM)
  • Compressor Inlet Air Temperature
  • Fuel Gas Temperature
  • Blade Path Temperature
  • Fuel Gas Flow
  • Fuel Oil Flow
  • Alarm Displays
  • Blade Path Exhaust Temperature
  • Bearing Temperature and Vibration
  • Drain Oil Temperature
  • Combustion Pressure (Fluctuation Monitoring)

data analysis and evaluation to improve customer’s overall gas turbine performance

Troubleshooting, Trending & Reports

The Remote Monitoring Center enables MPS to provide direct and expert assistance to our customers in optimizing gas turbine performance, efficiency and operation. Equally important, turbine data collected through the RMC provides the foundation for effective planning, management and documentation of Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA).

In addition to real-time monitoring and troubleshooting, the RMC supports comprehensive analysis and evaluation of turbine performance over time. MPS engineers can perform a variety of historical trending studies to identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and fine-tune operating strategies. Data can also be compiled in the form of customized reports that provide customer O&M personnel with timely summaries of turbine operating events, performance vs. fleet averages, service bulletins and shared intelligence from other Mitsubishi turbine operators.
